3 Striped Mud Turtle & Pond Fish Question

PATMAN Sep 06, 2003 07:11 PM

Hi,
I am not familiar with 3 striped mud turtles and was wondering if an adult would eat my goldfish if I were to put them together in my 55 gallon outdoor pond? Thanks for your help.

They would surely try. They aren't really really fast, so the goldfish stand a fighting chance, but in my experience my striped mud likes to try and has caught a few, but never enough to demolish a population. That's just my experience with one striped mud... other's may have other thoughts.
