Looks like a Norpac. What locality? I love oreganus due to their totally differnt looks from green to dark chocolate brown in relatively small geographic areas.

Northern Pacific rattlesnake (Crotalus oreganus oreganus)...They are quite variable, coming in shades of green, brown, gray, etc...Great snakes, with alot of personality...Just be careful...they're pretty hot and some bites have exhibited neurotoxic symptoms....

Northern Pacific Rattler. Natch. I think the correct name is Crotalus viridus oreganus.
