Really excited about this pairing...

ilovemylizard Oct 05, 2008 10:38 PM

This boy has been going for weeks...he took a short break to shed, then jumped right back in...

No swelling yet on the female, but hopefully he will get the job done soon...

The pairing is my 50% Suriname het albino male, father of the roswell boas,

and this unrelated 2001 Suriname female...

I would`nt pair these 2. Because the offspring will realy look as a surinam redtail but there not pure.

Would ever be mistaken as pure BCC...

The male has the genes to create both...

I have always been honest about the nature of my intergrades, and will continue to do so. Considering the rarity of the roswell mutation, I don't believe any siblings will be passed off as ordinary BCC...and the albinos are obviously not pure BCC..so no issue there.

I understand your position, but I must respectfully disagree.

Heather I hope you continue to do breedings similar to this with that male over and over again,
Even if you weren't producing "Roswell Boas " that Albino/Suri cross just smokes !

SO WHAT?? The only way you can get that beautiful bcc albino. It take's baby step's. You have to start somewhere. Keep up the good work Heather! I am currently mixing blood also. Try 75%suri 100% het. Hopefully I will be successful. Joseph

Your original snakes always look so good to me. Just something so appealing. Not to mention what you/they have produced and what you've got planned.
