Courtship question

drasticplastic Oct 06, 2008 12:52 AM

I'm trying my luck at breeding for the first time and I'm wondering something. I put my male with my female tonight and for a while they were crawling all over each other and checking each other out. How long should I leave them in together if he's not trying to get under her tail? I know it's only been a few hours since introduction and I'm not impatient I'm just curious about the steps they should take. I have read everything I can find online about breeding and I'm trying to follow Jeff's "breeding guide" I guess you'd call it. Sorry for the newbie question but you have to learn somewhere right? I actually have a night vision webcam inside the cage and broadcasting live to the internet if anyone is interested in seeing them also. Let me know what you think.
