Is there an online image database?

HerpZillA Oct 06, 2008 03:46 PM

There is a new post on the snow corn breeding mystery. The male being a coral. 1 I have a hard time finding a lot of pictures. 2 they vary alot. The big german site sample looks more orange. There is one site that has one that is a perfect match.

Then is it het hypo or homo hypo. I'm sorry gang, i'm not into all these morphs to memorize them all. Plus my brain cell free ram is low. To much is clogged with silly things from when I was a kid. So I don't retain alot of this stuff. I save my free RAM to remember important things,, like where the food is.

So, is there a place to see a kazillion images of each morph?
Plus data on the genetics?
Plus FREE! lol Sorry I'm cheap.

Thankie Thankie

Outstanding information. Now add 285,945,723 images lol.

This thing of having a corn or a certain look and more ways to get to it is just going to get more involved.

We have 2 corns at the shop that are dark red. And people are telling me they are bloodreds. When I explain bloods have a clear belly, usually, NOT checkered bellies and the sides are diffused. They still tell me it's a blood.

For the one customer that was rather obnoxious, I told him, ok it's a bloodred, and I raised the price $100. But I still offered it as a dark normal at the regular price.

Besides, if it was a bloodred, he'd/she'd be at my house.

i have a "burgundy " colored female corn... i KNOW she is not a bloodred. eventhough people have told me she is.. i just laugh on the inside. People also tell me shes a hypo.... i have her mother and she is a miami... the father was a normal looking cornsnake... shes just really red. I hate it when people try to "tell" me what my snakes are... i know.... unless i ask for peoples opinions... i KNOW what a bloodred looks like..
so unless the parents were bloodred X Normal they may look like "low end" bloodreds but arent called bloodreds in my book.... i'm sure others would disagree with me...

other side too. I've said I help an old friend at his shop. Less these days, but I try to get there as I can.

Mr. Spuckler would come in and either plain out bust my guesses, or just confused the heck out of me. He took great advantage of me being an extreme neophyte lol. But he did teach me a lot.

I love corns, but if I can ever get a bit more healthy and some capitol, my real love would be for husbandry items. I LOOOOOVE to make stuff. Some day I hope.

and i know you said money was tight, but for about $20 you can buy the "cornsnake morph guide" its a book by charles pritzel. He comes out with a new one very year... has a list of most the morphs and newer morphs... but its kinda hard to keep it up to date b/c there are always people claiming to have "a new morph" but its pretty cool... the website for it is cornguide.com

I have the guide. But I mean A LOT of pics. I play with web stuff when I get bored. I've done the idea about 6 times in the last 2 years lol. But I always run into programming issues with standard free software packages.

And money is tight, but I coulds get a $20 book. But with a daughter in college, I just always seen to rather not buy that little sumptin. I did buy a $5 bird book at half price books lol. Ok all kidding aside, I'm getting a complex now.

My wife is a banker, that almost seems scarey at this time, but she re did some loan thingie we have on the house. SO, by next year, money issues shoiuld change.

And I have a guy that just emailed me to make it up to ,, somehow.

Peace
