Increased melanin gene. The animal starts out normal or almost axanthic looking. Each time it sheds the black pigment increases and the light pigment gets lighter. I would like to breed he to an albino male and then breed the offspring to see what it will produce. I am having a really hard time capturing her true colors. I tried an outdoor shot yesterday, but it was cloudy and they came out poorly. This was a fair indoor shot. I am going to try and get an outdoor shot in the sun and will post better pics.
