Holy Canoli!

This ball hatched out today, and I was thrilled. Pastel crossed with our Desert line. Really sharp, love the pattern, almost Super Pastelish.

The Pastel Desert was great, but I was waiting for something, "more". Same clutch, got the first ever Desert Pied. Holy Holy Smokes!

Best Desert yet!

Wow..wicked pied!..Congratulations

hrmmm...wonder if he will throw pastels too..or is that just the desert gene causing all the color?

No pastel gene in that Desert Pied, and in this case, I would prefer it that way. The sharpness and clean pattern that the Desert brings in, combined with the aberrant pattern of the Pied really makes the visuals pop.

Our Desert line is either Dom or Co-Dom, we aren't sure yet. This will be the first year that we have females up to breeding size, so hopefully we will answer that question this coming season.
