Pregnant??

NYCMedic Oct 06, 2008 09:38 PM

I recently introduced a 11 month old male to a five year olf female who has never bred before. She looks quite bloated so i think she is pregnant. They have been together exactly 30 days today so thats the most she can be preg. Since she has never bred before will she have a longer gestation time? She is also actinh very lethargic with difficulty walking and chasing after her food. is this normal behavior for a gravid female? also she has not been intersted in eating any of her fruits or greens, just crickets.

What is her length and weight? You should post a picture.

I'm not excited about the mention that she is having trouble walking and chasing her food. I would not say that is normal. Shot in the dark?, if she's healthy, she may lay eggs in the next week. She should stop eating completely prior and will need a place to dig a nest ideally without the male bothering her.
