I was recently told that there is a high demand now for het for nothing Southern pines. Is this true. I have been working with chondros for a little while now and havent kept up with the colubrids. Check out a pic of my southern pine. Ive had him as a pet since he was a hatchling about 7 years now

I think there's a pretty good desire for anything thats het for nothing these days. I think as the hobby progresses theres things may get more devided as the people that want pure bloodlines and people that want morphs.

I can respect and welcome both sides as any growing interest in reptiles is cool by me. I'll be looking for the pure blood.

I suppose it depends on your sources, lol. If you've heard it from multiple sources it might be a trend. If you've been reading my irrational posts this year searching for non het mugitus, (or talking to others reading my posts)then it might not be a real trend, hahaha.
keep 'em if you like 'em, that way you don't have to worry how much they sell for.

I agree with DaveB on if you have heard it from multiple sources. Many people like to get reptiles that they remember from their childhood. A het for nothing southern pine makes a great looking animal. I have a few of them and will always be a staple in my collection.
