sterilite latch box (1888)

defiall Oct 08, 2008 02:25 PM

Just out of curiosity is anyone using the sterlite latch type boxes (specifically item #1888) as stackable housing. I was wondering how they did with the heat tape, uth, etc. I would have to assume they would react simalarly to other sterilite products but Ive never used any of them either. oh yeah the dimensions for this specific box are 24 1/2”L x 17 3/4”W x 13 1/4”H.
Thanks

I just got one to house my new Haitian Boas, but I wouldn't recommend stacking them. They work great one at a time though. My Balls are in racks. (I love to talk about my Balls)

So far I have to of those and two tanks and I was going to try to maybe stack the two sterilites temporarily until I can figure outa plan to build a rack. Do you have heat on yours, if so... well I guess if you do then its not hurting anything.
