bgood Oct 08, 2008 08:26 PM

hmm so i am thinking about building a rack or something along those lines with plastic tubs as the cages, i would like to get rid of my 8 foot cage.
but i want the snakes to be able to move around as they do now.
what suggestions do you guys have as to which tubs to use?

I have looked into buying sheets of PVC and have found it would be about as much as buying cages. Thus, One wrong cut and it would be more expensive than buying cages. Thus, I am getting ready to spend a ton on a bunch of cages.

lol, yeah i'm currently building a bigger, "prettier", adult enclosure for my snow corn. i started making the frame with red oak. so far i've got the frame done and the bottom of the actual enclosure part with melamine board. up to about $100 worth of supplies so far. it's debatable whether or not to just buy a nice premade cage or not. it always feels good to build a functional enclosure but it's a personal preference i suppose...
