I've never been to the All Maryland Reptile Show, how are they usually? Good vendor turn out? Good size?

Haha, no. Its actually an exceptionally small show, but I go every month. There's probably only about 20-30 vendors/tables. Ian G from Outback Reptiles is always there... Chesapeake Bay Ball Pythons and Maryland Reptile Farms as well. It's my way to buy fresh F/T feeder rodents every month and catch up with friends.

but it is on the smaller side.....however, the quality is usually good.

it's definitely a nice show to take family/kids....

hamburg is another show i vend at but its chaos sometimes. much larger plus venomous stuff

both shows are good shows and i would recommend you attend both to form your own opinion.

I get down to Havre De Grace whenever I can, one of my favorite shows. Its small, not packed usally, and easy to talk to the guys with the snakes. I picked up a great little Bumble Bee male this past weekend, and loads of frozen food.

As for NW Berks (held in Hamburg) I have picked up some nice animals there but have found that if you get there latter than noon its a gong show, swarms of people (some rude, many with limited knowledge of what they are looking at) and hot! I love a herp show, but this isnt on my favorites list. Check out the White Plains show if you can!

......stop getting there after noon????

......I am there at 7 am.......but then again I have to unpack...LOL........and do you know that even on crappy sorta rainy days there are people out there waiting to get in (at 9 ) out front at like 7:30am..?...why???....buying is soooo easy it sucks....

......All Md is ok usually....Hamburg is ok but I wouldn't take kids there or friends, girlfriends that don't like crowds or snakes....why scared people go along amuses me sorta....

......Hamburg was even better back in the day...before selling bats was illegal....when all mammals were legal ....people always had stuff that made me come home with new colored or styles of rodents......anyone have super black mice anymore?...good English Fox chocolates/over orange?.....rhino mice?...trans gens ?.......

Nile rats, pouched rats, doormice, pygmy opossums, prarie dogs, flying squirrels, sugar gliders, duprasi, gerboas, jirds, hedgehogs, zebra mice, pygmy mice, spiny mice, albino ground squirrels, Egyptian flying fox bats, and lots more....most are not legal anymore I don't think......they used to be at shows all the time...mad it more fun even...

so go to shows....go early enough it isn't killer hot in summer.....have fun ....oh...and say Hi ....
