Well I posted on Aug 15th I had a snake lay eggs in her bedding not her nesting box. I think she laid them on August 14th.

Picture I posted on Aug 15th.

Well, most dried up to a chalky material. Both I have 2 that look very good. I had 3, but 1 really folded about 10 days ago. A bit to early. I Calc today is 55-56. Funny see laid them over the date of my 1st spinal nerve ablation. And I had my second today. So i had to really look at them today. I won't even post a picture lol.

If I get to viable babies or 2, I'll post of course. The eggs were from my big bloodred male, to what I am 90% certain is one of my old outcrosses from 04ish.

I'm not a big breeder so I ahve no idea how odd it is to have eggs hatching in oct?

Next year I write "egg box" on the outside! lol

Well Tom, thats a great idea. If only snakes could READ!
Things would be so much easier. It'd be cool if we could potty train them as well. Less work to clean the cages.

I hope you get some snakes out of those eggs. I didn't have any luck with the clutches that I found out of the nest box. Maybe I should write "nest box - lay eggs here" on my boxes as well. lol. Maybe add "and tell me when you are done".

Take care, keep us posted

just wire a doorbell or give each snake a bell to ring- and train them to tell US when they are hungry, have to go potty, or when they are done with eggs

Best of luck with them. I hope that you get a few babies out of them.

I have a handful of eggs due to hatch this month. They are all doubleclutches though. So far I have had almost no luck with doubleclutch eggs but I think that a few of these are going to hatch. The eggs look good so cross fingers.
