just curious as to what you all think. i have a large cage, that was sitting outside for a while. as a result, it had some rusty spots. i used naval jelly on it to get rid of the rust, then used a good primer on it. do i still need to top coat, or do you think that is good enough?

If it were me, I would slap something else on it to make sure it's sealed.

I've worked with some primer that just didn't hold up under normal conditions, let alone high temp/humidity conditions.

It's a judgement call. If you think it'll "stick" around. (no pun intended) then go for it.
