one egg or two?

ThirdDimension Oct 10, 2008 08:34 PM

I just had to throw this out there. Everything i have ever read or heard was that leos lay two eggs at a time. but out of all my females i have only ever found single eggs. is there a possible reason behind this? i was just curious as to how common it is to find single eggs.

It happens but it isn't all that common. I had about 20 leos for a couple of breeding seasons and all of my girls laid in pairs save for once or twice.

If you hold them up, you can see the eggs through their skin.

i have 1 girl who mostly throws 1 egg at a time... but every once in a while she will lay 2. now... her sister on the other hand almost ALWAYS lays 2..... i think it just depends on the female...
