my 1st bull

I got this new snake off of craiglist today (free). they said it was a Prairie Kingsnake. But she is not. RossCA said that she is a Bull snake.

She as being drinking her water like she dose not if she will get more. she is very friendly.

what is the best way to put some weight on the snake. she dips in on the top of her back and side all the way down her body. the pics do not show it.

The best wat to get snakes back in good shape is with frequent small meals. Bullsnakes, particularly ones that are active, have a fairly high metabolism, generally speaking. A 3-4 foot snake that you want to put weight on could take an adult mouse or similarly sized rat every 4 or 5 days. They always seem hungry, so obesity is a danger as well. Don't over do it. I only feed my adults, except for reproductive females, every 7-10 days and they do fine.
