So my roommate and I have both tried our hand at palpating the snakes. I come up all females, she comes up all males.
I think we're going to end up paying someone to sex for us.

Yeah, learning the first one is hard, Mike tried to show me but I was unable to feel the bb's. Once you manage to find and feel one set of bb's the whole process makes much more sense.

lots.lots.lots feeder mice and rats
ha, I hope its legal.
I may give it another go. We have a younger (2 years) male colombian that is on the smaller side (due to a bacteria load when we got him) that I KNOW is male, so I may bother him until I figure it out. He also is a lot less likely to bite me a million times in the process.
