My Dilemma With Caramel Candy

fgs Oct 11, 2008 11:02 PM

This is a photo of my 2100 gram virgin female caramel albino.

I am very fortunate to own this beautiful snake. The problem I'm having and what a fantastic problem it is, is what to breed her to. Last year I tried breeding her with my pied, but the pied was just too young and showed no interest. About three months ago I was fortunate to acquire an adult bumble bee. For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of producing caramel pieds, but now for the first time I'm reconsidering my plans. As beautiful as a caramel pied would look I can't help but wonder how a caramel spider, caramel bumble bee and even more exciting a caramel killer bee would look.

For the fun of it what would you do?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Brian

Brian - stick with your original plan. I know there are those who don't care for pieds, but, personally, I think it's hard to ever go wrong with a pied cross.

All of the other options you mentioned would be cool, but it'd be nice to see some more piebald crosses that don't result in a super high white animal.

Do the spider combos still show the seemingly neurological disorders that the spiders exhibit? Just always wonder if it is apparent in all the combos as well. is the outcrossing showing any promise of producing healthy spider combos or even spiders?
I know I may not get any answers to my question but thought I would ask anyway.
Thanks,
Toni

Booohoo! What a dilema bud, LOL! I keep telling you man and echoing on what the forum peeps responded. CARAMEL PIED "Keep on keeping on" with this project and I bet you won't regret it. Although a triple or quadruple morph combo would be cool too. Talk to you later.

I got her from MKR in 05. I knew what line she was at time of purchase, but can't remember now.
