What's the "right" diet for 150-200 G ?

knottydread Oct 12, 2008 03:28 PM

Hi,

I'm wondering what everyone thinks the "right" diet is for 150-200 gram 08's would be? I've been feeding them hopper's at 1-2 a week, I bought a 100 pack bag from rodentpro and have 7 ball's, so I'm trying to get rid of them to get them on something bigger.

Is feeding them 2 hopper's a week too much?

Thanks for the feedback!

My babies, right out of the egg, eat hoppers or slightly larger. You can be feeding decent size mice by this time. But if you want to stay with a couple hoppers a week thats ok too.

My 215 gram female pounds down an adult mouse a week, no problems.

Thanks for the info guys! I'm going to give them 2 hoppers a week for now until this bag of 100 hoppers is gone, then I bought a bag of 50 weanling mice so they can switch to that in a few weeks.

Cheers

I've got some that I just picked up a couple of weeks ago at 125g that have been eating 2 hoppers a week. I prefer to feed smaller meals as often as they will eat them.
