One of the things I really like about also having Boa constrictors is their reproductive cycle is offset from my BRB cycles. I just put my BCI's together for breeding two days ago and already have one visual copulation. With the offset in their cycles I seem to always be in one mode or another. My calendar year goes something like....
Jan - Mar tracking end of BCI breeding season.
Jan warming back up and introduction of BRB trios.
Jan - May, tracking BRB breeding season.
Apr - Jul BCI birthing season
Jul - October BRB Birthing season
Begining of October start of BCI breeding season
End of October start of BRB cooling period
October - Dec tracking begining of BCI breeding season.
