Help! I just bought 2 leopard geckos yesterday and one of them was very weak. Its body and tail was weak and its eyes are always half open. Both of them don't want to eat. Can anyone help?

Is the one not opening it's eyes albino? They are very sensitive to light. Try syringe feeding either pedialite or Fluker's Repti-aid. Both are great. Herps seem to like the fruit flavored pedialite! Also, below, there is a thread that starling replied to, and posted a message including a recipe that she uses. Goodluck, and keep us posted!

Why did you buy them if they didn't look healthy?

Are they babies? Do you see any kind of dark swelling on their stomachs? Do you have the right temperatures in their home?

They are both high- yellow...

YES! There are black swelling underneath its stomach. What does it mean? I use a 40watt basking lamp for them. My sister bought them, so i had no idea.

the black swellings could mean internal bleeding, crypto, something else,or nothing at all. i would bring it to the vet, a good vet, just to check.
