I put together some of my black rats today for some pictures.

Thanks for looking!

Bingo! You get a cookie!

The normal is about 5.5 feet, the brindle a hair behind him right around 5, the rusty about 4.5, and the amel rusty is only around 3.5. They range from around around 2 years to 6 years old, although I haven't had all of them that long (the amel rusties have only been with me a year). All except the normal are females, and will hopefully be bred to an amel rusty this year. The only one in question is that amel rusty- she's tiny, but she's put on an insane amount of size in the time I've had her, and if she keeps going at this rate, she should be an easy 4.5 feet by breeding season.

So next year could have rusties (some het. brindle), leucistics, and amel rusties for me! Man, am I excited! Add in whitesided & het. whitesided Everglades, and it's going to be an exciting year for us without even thinking about the boas & JCPs.

I have a high orange amel. intergrade, some T amels and a leucistic, as well.

Did you make it to the mars show ?..If so did you check out George Miskimon's lavender licorice for sell ? One sweet snake !!!!!!

I go to the Mars, PA show, but I've never been to the Mid-Atlantic. A lavender licorice would be beautiful, though ... Other than hatchlings, I've never seen anything other than a normal licorice either bred to have more black, or less black.
One of my favorites, though, was Floyd Presley's "salt and pepper" licorice. It had maybe 30 black scales on its whole body.

I'd like to make it to the Mid-Atlantic, though... Maybe I'll see if the missus wants to take a trip down to the next one. Any clue when that would be?

The Mars show is once a yr ...the second week in Sept but the all MD show is every month I think the next one is Nov 8 and George normally have a table there too

The lavender licorice is a smoker !!!!!!!

The next time you see Floyd tell him I said " HI " Floyd and I go way back

The rusty and brindle licorice are nice also !!!!

Nice try, though.
