Jungle Corn

Orocosos Oct 13, 2008 08:14 PM

I posted something similar on the hybrid forum, but apparently no one's home. I am looking to breed my female Cal king. I'm debating on whether to start breeding pure" Cal kings (aberrant stripe project) or work on a jungle corn project. I've never bred snakes before and have a minimal understanding of genetics.

What do you guys think I should start with? Any help is appreciated.

I don't know much about king genetics but I'd go with the king project first because it's a lot easier breeding two animals of the same species then trying to breed predator and prey! It doesn't mean you can't breed jungles in the future, its just better to get the hang of breeding pure snakes before you try to get started with hybrids. What ever you choose good luck with it!
