Question on tank for my new Rainbow....

markpopejoy Oct 13, 2008 09:50 PM

I just picked up a gorgeous 5 foot male and I have been checking on this, I'm not sure if I should have more base room or a taller tank for climbing. I am looking at getting one of those reptariums but don't know if I should get a taller one or a wider one.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, I know with the screen top it lets out too much humidity, what is a good, reasonably priced enclosure I can use as well as show off this gorgeous thing? I don't really want a rubbermaid tub that I can't see in and I don't want to drop $200 on just the plastic tank you see at Boaphile.com

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

For an adult IMO the Boaphile cages are a relatively inexpensive solution. You can get them with built in heat options etc. Not sure what you can get for much less that will look decent and last.

well you could allways build something if you have the means there are plent of us who can give you some good ideas on how to make it functional as well as pretty...

although building something yourself doesnt always mean cheaper, as i found out when i built my stack it was far more expensive than i planned
