New Porph Photos!

Here's a thick banded coxi. We are working to make a coxi with one wide black stripe. As the photo shows, we are getting close!

We are also working on a coxi with no stripes. We have gotten the first half of the stripes to almost disappear. It won't be long now!
Here's one of evil crosses. This one is vaillanti x coxi.

Here's my fav for this year, a latacincta x coxi

Do they cross easily or are you having to trick them ex: switching males and females right before breeding?

i put them together just like i would the pure forms.
they breed just as strongly to the other subspecies as to
the pure forms.

Chad, you might like this guy---no stripes for 1/3 of his body.

chad_proexotics Oct 14, 2008 10:32 PM

very nice.
we do have a few that have that much of their stripes missing.
i was too lazy to get a shot of those.

Chad I really like the second one you posted with the pin bands. I just had a clutch hatch a couple weeks ago with one with real thin bands in the upper third of it's body and I dig that look.
