hmm...i'm wondering if its prudent to put the golden tree snake in the same tank as my prasina. Will my prasina come to any harm if its bitten?

I don't know the effects of the prasina incase it got bit, however in my opinion, you should never mix species. One reason for not mixing is that each species might harbour some pathogens that are harmful to the other.

Another reason why I wouldn't house them together is to be able to monitor the snake (eg. which one of the crapped etc)

You can mix species in a large arboreal tank as long as everything has been quarantined (wormed etc.). As for the Ahaetulla coming to harm from the paradise, the paradise wouldn' t likely to be looking at it as prey. The Ahaetulla are venomous too. We had a look at the Ahaetulla venom in our most recent paper.
