Some boas from my collection

_dennis_ Oct 14, 2008 07:05 AM

Here´s a few boas from my collection. I really tried to catch their color, but as usually it´s hard.

First out my 07 Circle back pastel male. He is really good looking, dripping with colors.

Another

My 08 female Mandarin belly. These are one of the best morphs out there. She has just started to get her color wich can be seen on the side where the pink is starting to show.

Close up. The adults are warm red and orange.

Female 07 leopardboa. Great animal, purchased driectly from Hans Winner, who by the way is one of the nicest people out there.

Female 07 Circle back pastel. She is smaller then the male, and the color has not really come yet. In a few months she will be awesome!

Close up. She has something paradox/calico going on.

Male 07 Amber. This is new morph that originated here in Europe.
This morph ad red to other morphs, and alsoe they have great colors and pattern on their own. Recently Salmon Ambers were produced, and they were reduced pattern and tons of red!

Close up. Look at that tail!

Female 07 Pastel Amber.

Female 07 CA Motley. This must be one of the best CA motleys ever! I got her from Peter Rice in the UK. Also one of the nicest breeder I´ve met.

Hope you like the pics. And if there´s any questions, you are welcome to contact me.

Thanks,
Dennis

They all look great; especially the first cblt and CA motley.

Isn't the scoop on the Amber morph that it has a touch of hogg island blood in them. Thanks for sharing.

I don´t think so. But I am not 100% sure. I´ll get back to my friend who produced mine and see what he says. Either way, they are very beautiful, extremly colorful and interesting speckled pattern.

best regards,
Dennis

Is it difficult or expensive to cross borders with CB boas and such within the EU?

It depends on how many. You have 5 boas or any other reptile without any permits. (of course not CITES 1 animals)

But if you are going to a show to maybe sell or purchase lots of snakes, you´ll need a permit. But it´s not that hard to aquire.

I had my girlfirend with me so I could IF I wanted get up to 10 boas with me.

Thanks,
Dennis
