nice clutch of super stripes

mhaas91 Oct 14, 2008 08:00 AM

Here is a clutch I just hatched of super stripes. Seems like the striping can be variable. I have hatched super stripes with full stripes and there have been ones that have breaks in the stripe.

Anyway I hope everyone is having a good year.

Those are some nice animals you have there....sorry for the newb question but what is the pairing to produce these?

Super Stripes are produced by Yellow Belly x Cyclone/Whirlwind. Another very subtle looking trait. It's like breeding 2 damn near normal balls together and getting something INCREDIBLE. Gotta love those Yellow Bellies.

thanks ryan how much do these "Cyclones" cost?

RyanT Oct 14, 2008 07:45 PM

I can't say for sure, but for some reason I'm thinking the last time I noticed them for sale they were like $2500. But that's a complete shot in the dark. I could be way off. How bout this...out of my price range. That I can definitely say for sure.

eeesh...... I'll stick with my projects for now....is there anyway you could send an update pic of that pastel. glad all is working out with her!

Not the best lighting, but I really like her. She's only at 1400 grams right now, because she stopped eating a few weeks ago. But I haven't started breeding anything yet. It's still been pushing 80 during the day here in Delaware so hopefully she'll be able put a few more grams on before showtime.

The only plan I have for her this year is to make a couple Pewters with this guy. I can't wait for this season and what it produces for me. Only 9 months or so til I know for sure.

They go for right around $2500 to $3500.
