True Ghost Bull pics

Nokturnel Tom Oct 15, 2008 02:03 PM

This snake is lucky to have made it out of the egg, it had some help from me.
The clutch had gone into about week 7 when it started dimpling quickly and looked like it was going downhill. I knew this clutch held great potential for morphs so I hydrated it with damp paper towels and though it did shrink a bit more I stuck with it and finally cut it close to the clutches due date. There was a live snake inside.
That snake turned out to be the only Ghost in the clutch. He is half the size of his siblings but is doing great and is a very nice looking animal. His attitude is WAY better than his brothers haha! You have to love these fiesty Bulls! Enjoy the pics.

Tom,
Very nice. I can't wait to produce some of those myself. Perhaps next year or 2010. Maybe you should send him to me. Wish you could have made it to Tinley Park. We needed some nice bull morphs there. There were only a few.

Take care,
Jeff Port

Good luck with that. It was really cool watching that clutch hatch. I have a few more pairs of Bulls I am raising right now that should produce similar things if I am lucky.

Me too! And luckily it was the calmest one in the bunch, a few were downright demonic.

Tom, that bull is a knockout. I like the fact that it is NOT whitesided too.

Thanks Scott. For me the fact it is het for White Sided is still a big bonus to me. Though a few Bull morphs have been around for a long time I still think selective breeding and or outcrossing will still make even nicer ones and maybe White Sideds will get nicer looking...like the Ivories ya know?
