Ok, how difficult are these tortises to keep? Moderately hard or very difficult? What are their care requirements? Considering one, but not until I know exactly what I am getting into! Help please..

Thank you,
Matthew

Most are wild caught. If its an adult then you can count on it.Plan on spending more money on a Vet than the cost of the tortoises. If you are savvy in the world of treating reptiles for parasites you may be able to pull it off. They have a high mortallity rate.Their enviroment varies through out their range in nature,so if the person you are getting it from knows this type of information that would be helpfull.Captive born are rare but if you can find them that would increase your chanches of doing well by 99%.If you can do them outside that would be grate.Good Luck. Looks young, but not a baby. My alternate choice is a hypo Sulcata, but the other house member is scared of their adult size & digging ability! LOL

Thanks, BTW
