Is my snake sick? he feels kinda mushy

my new baby ball has been gaining weight and looking great until recently his body appears unporportioned, his body is thick up to his bottom and then super tiny tail, it seem like its skin is real loose and almost feel mushy towards its bottom, any ideas?
