The reason you don't find stuff like this is because you head out WAY too much.

Everybody knows that if you only go out once/twice a season you find all the crazy stuff...

kool photo,i found a helleri earlier this year snacking down a dor ground squirrell that must of been weeks old.looked like a piece of old hard leather.cant believe he was trying to much it.

I guess the snake didn't read the caresheets.. small meals no larger than the widest part of the snake's body.
