shipping too cold?

i was thinking about buying a pair of boas but nightime temps here in nj are falling below 40 degrees now, do you guys think it is safe to ship in these temps or am i better off waiting till next year to make a purchase, i am worried that they will get a ri from the cold, what are your thoughts on shipping boas in these temps, thanks in advance.
