My wife Christina and I are pleased to announce the birth of our first child, little Anabella Marie. She came a week early, arriving on Tuesday October 14th. She weighed in at 6 lbs 13 oz, has a full head of dark hair, sparkling blue eyes and is completely flawless.
Mom only pushed for thirty minutes and the best part of the whole experience is that our doctor generously let me deliver her. Bringing my daughter into the world is something I will never forget.
I only hope that she will share the same passion about nature that I do....or at least looking for gray-bands...

Congrats Nathan. Don't tell me..her room is painted orange and gray. Or did mom insist on traditional colors. Enjoy her because they grow up fast. Good luck to the both of you.

Congratulations on being a new father. My daughter is now 3 1/2 and time really flies... Glad the delivery went so smoothly. Our experience was similar. We had a great midwife and only 1/2 hour of pushing too. My wife has an amazing pain threshold. My friends without kids never understand when I say you don't know what real love is until you witness the birth of your child - but I'm sure you know now.

Again, congratulations on a healthy, beautiful child!
