Stunning! How long do these Bullsnakes get on average? I'm thinking of getting some, but I'm looking for lines that will get HUGE and am curious if there monster lines out there or do they generally reach similar sizes?

This is not a monster sized line. The adults are around 6 feet. Maybe they would be a little bigger if pushed, but probably not 8 feet or more like a few lines can get.

Very beautiful snake. I never saw anything like it before. Is that a cross between a yellow x hypo or is that just a new type of hypo?

zhaa Oct 19, 2008 03:57 PM

He is a Colorado phase hypo that has been outcrossed with yellow normal bloodlines. He is also het for albino, and whiteside and possible het anerythristic. I meant to say "lemon bullsnake" in the title. I'm not trying to start a new name...
Is that a spilotes? Cool snake.

The "plus" sign doesn't take. Lemon "plus" bullsnake... lemon "and" bullsnake.

I would have never thought hypo x yellow would look that good. Awsome job on him.

Also he is a spilotes.

I do, sort of. I have that one and his daughter from this year, the only one of 8 that turned out like him. She's the top one in the photo. Her blotches have already faded to a golden-tan color.

You posted an extremely yellow regular bull some years back. I'd like to see that one again.
