Thats a BIG corn. lol

My 2 small bloodreds are also slow growers? I wonder if that is a trait? Although as I type this my big male grew at an OK pace. He's well over 4. Speaking of big corns, one of my customers offered me her corn. She told me he/she was longer than she was tall. And she looked 5' 6". Shes suppose to bring her in Thusday for me to look at. I hope a feamle, but shes also 9 years old. I'm not sure if that is to old for breeding?

Both nice snakes.

I know lol. We get a lot of BCi's in the summer. I always ask why people are getting rid of a nice big snake. And its almost always the same reason.

1 It was bought for their kid and he/she no longer looks at it.
2 Moving and they realize they don't seem so involves with having it anymore,
3 Divorce
4 Jail
5 It was left in a home they just bought.

As for the bloods, I have 2 late 07's. They are now taking 7 day old pinky rats. And this last feeding they each took 2. Scared me a bit to do, but they were clearly looking for more. And I'm on the same schedule for my 1.1. I also ahve a 4' male. I should ahve let him breed to a few things this year just to test out het possibilites. But I was not thinking I guess.

My Personal site

Somewhere on there is me with a freebie we took in at the shop. I look like walking death in it so beware.

I some times kick myself for not getting into breeding BCI. Then one craps in a tank at teh shop and i think, I made a good decision!

this girl seems fairly healthy... she was given up b/c the husband was in the military and keeps getting deployed and the wife is pregnant. the room they had her in was to be the baby room and they couldnt move her into the spare bedroom for obvious reasons.. plus they say shes a bit nippy and aggressive. which wont mesh well with a lil bitty baby. on top of that i was the closest rescue who would take her!!! they had to drive a good 2 hours to get to my area... how sad
my husband said a quick something about breeding her but i'm not sure if it was a random thought or he was being serious.... i sat up and watched her for a good while last night... they are slow moving things, arent they??
oh well... got lots of stuff to do... wooohooo..

Yes, Jeff has some great snakes. Some of his seem to be line bred to be Bright red saddles, with Thick boarders and then Red background instead of the standard bright orange background. Pretty soon, the background is going to be as bright as those red saddles. I would name them "Blazing" hot Abbotts okeetees. Or heck, put your own name on it.... Jeff okeetees. lol
