svt-sinister Sep 07, 2003 11:37 AM

I have a florescent light that i used for my fish tank and i was wondering if i could use it for my snake instead. Is the fluroscent light harmfull to them?

It shouldn't hurt your snake at all. I noticed that when I put lights in my cages my snakes hide more. When the only source of light for my cages is ambient room light they are out looking around much more often. I'm sure they feel more vulnerable out with bright light shining down on them.
