im new to owning a lizard and i want to get one. I have looked around and read a lot about the different types of lizards and I decided that I would either want a bearded lizard or a uromastyx. I have also been reading different care sheets about them and the forums for them on this website, but I don't know which one would be good for a beginner. I am willing to deal with bugs and other feeder insects, but I am not sure which one would be good for a newbie. Please answer! Should I get a bearded dragon or a uromastyx???

I say dragon, my friends Mali, boring ZZZZZZZZ
Dragons I find have better personalities.
The bugs is what pushed my friend to go Mali,
However I convinced him to buy an adult dragon, and use supers, soo much better then Crix(from my point of view)

I have to disagree here Lord Baal 
Im not sure whats wrong with your friends Uro, but my Mali is ANYTHING but boring. He is the funniest lizard ever - super active, cute as a button, and always running around and making us laugh with his ridiculous antics! I am a hardcore beardie lover, but i now love Uros just as much and am looking to get a second one
Having said that, i do think beardies are a better beginer choice - they are a little easier to care for, and tend tobe mellower
