I have 2 2month old beardies with a good set up.both are 11inches from nose to tip of tail. when is it safe to start feedin supers to them? also they are on reptile turf stuff, when could i switch them to a sifted sand? or is that out of the question? new to the beardie game just trying to learn without getting them hurt.

Wait till there 12" or larger to start feeding supers. Usually at 12" dragons start to fill out on their sides and can hold much more food. Supers take a while for a dragon to digest so don't let them gobble up more than 3-4 day to start. Your probably safe to make the switch to sand around the same time.

I would give them a couple more months to get larger.

I pretty much agree with KMartin. At 12" it's fine to start adding them to their diet. I would keep gutloaded crickets as the primary food until the dragon is 300 grams. Sifted playsand is fine at 12". Just be sure that you are supplementing properly. When dragons ingest substrate it's usually because something is lacking in their diet.
