Is this a Spotnose?

I cannot tell? I have looked at other spotnose pics and I cannot see much difference.

I'm going to say no. I hatched out several normals with those two spots and they are only normals.

I'll probably breed this male to 1 female this upcoming year just to see what happens BUT every single pic I've seen of the spotnose matches mine dead on. Granted, I've only done google searches but still....there are way too many similarities. If it isn't a spotnose, then what exactly defines a spotnose?

They have green eyes and a crazy exagerated head pattern.
Here are some pics from different sites...

i saw it but there are other big name breeders that have pics of spotnose bp's that look identical to mine. I don't want to say their names and have this thread deleted. if you do a google search, you'll see what i mean.

I`d say it`s not a spotnose. My spotnose and all of the other ones i have seen have a "spot" at the tip of the nose. And they have much more of a "patterned" head(similar to a spider). I`ve seen ALOT with lip "spots" and faded heads but i`ve never thought they were anything special so i haven`t ever bred them. Good luck though, you may prove it to be something else.

I've seen alot of "normal" with that kind of head pattern. Granted I think I've seen some spots with it too, it doesn't have that spot look...no dot on the nose and the colors seem a bit too dark. Here's a head shot of mine, which has a more exagerated head pattern, which is more typical with spotnoses. Good luck with whatever it may be.

I don't think so, but if you do, prove him out, keep us posted

Doubt that's a spotnose. It looks like what is affectionately called a booger ball...( basically a normal)
Not all spots have well defines patterning on their, heads, or for that matter a very defined nose spot. They all have a unique goldish cast, a significant broken dorsal striping, and a "halo" outline around the edges of the side markings. The only way to know for sure on yours is to breed it...Ya never know.
Here are My Spot nose , and Pastel Spot nose hatchlings, as you can see the sire was much less pronounced.

Norm, pastel, and 2 spotnose pastels:
