Aside from Nokturnel Tom, is anyone else producing Mexican Black Kingsnakes? They (and Black Milksnakes) have tickled my curiousity. I don't see alot advertised though. Is that because the main focus seems to be on vivid Hondurans and Brooks?

Ever since I first laid eyes on those shiny black kings I have had them. They are my "bulletproof" snakes and they are beauties to me.
I have 4 adult females that produce some nice babies when I breed them to my hand picked males...
They come and go, as far as popularity, for some reason.
Good luck finding them. Most are probably gone by now.

What's wrong with Tom? Just grab one from him. I will be producing some next season.

Nothing is wrong with Tom. I searched the forum and seemed to come up with many posts by Tom, with an occasional other. I was just curious if there was anyone else breeding/working with them as they are only discussed sporatically on the forum.

I will hopefully be producing my first clutch of them next year.

I have one of Tom's - don't worry about them having some white as neonates, mine did and it has turned jet black.

I've been breeding them for six years. I think they're the best pet getula, as they are less "bitey" (in my experience) than easterns, Cal kings and Florida/brooks. I'd recommend them for first time kingsnake owners.
