New Tinley Carpets

PHFaust Oct 22, 2008 10:47 AM

Silly me, I posted this on the carpet forum and I suspect it got missed by ya'all.

Came home from Tinley Park NARBC with a very happy husband as he got the first of his carpets. I havent taken any new photos, but I can happily say these guys have already started eating quite well. Second feeding down. Both were picked up from Jeff Hartwig (who has got to see cash when he sees my husband coming now). Lucky for hubby Jeff didnt have many blood available. So now I have some little snakes for our house. Both are males. We may move into breeding of these, but I dont know if I feel like dealing with that.

Anyhoo here are the snakes. Irian Jaya - currently named something not acceptable for kingsnake TOS. I apologize for the blurry-ness of the photos. It was much easier to take the photo of him in the deli cup then share a bunch of blurry photos of him trying to kill me. He has already escaped his shoebox (thankfully double caged the little turd in a neodesha). Im smelling a problem child here.

This is the coastal. Nice snake, reasonably handleable for short times. Will at least be able to clean cage with out getting nailed.

Really need to get pics now that they are settled, but you know how it is when you get home from a show. Short of the attitude on the jaya looking forward to keeping these guys. They seem like they will be easy keepers over all. Thanks for checking out the new kids.

Very nice ! You're going to like the carpets They'll mellow out given some time. I've got striped coastals and Irian Jaya's - Irian's are my favorite, and that's a really nice striped carpet as well!

That Jaya is a turd! But took their second meals today so Im pretty happy. Thankfully the Jaya is still a baby, because he nailed me today. At least I felt his head connect. LOL.

I have had nothing but compliments on the coastal's striping. Is that unusal to find them that stripey? Kinda looked at the gallery, and havent seen any that nice.

I honestly cant say enough good about Jeff Hartwig. Hubby has bought a snake from him every year and his stuff is such nice quality.
