Flightless house flies

yeagermeister111 Sep 07, 2003 01:18 PM

Is anyone feeding them to their Anolis/Norops? I spoke to a friend who worked at the National Aquarium, and they said they seemed to be a useful part of the diet. If you are using them, could you post your receipe for medium, as well as post where you got them (or if you would be willing to send me a culture).
Best,
Justin

Hi Justin,

There was a thread on house flies on the cham forum awhile back -here is a link to it: forums.kingsnake.com/view.php?id=136845,136845

and here is a site that is mentioned. Hope this helps!

Hi,
So have you gotten a better hatch rate out of them lately? I was thinking of feeding half of the diet flies, half crickets to the Anoles and Phelsuma, and for the cresteds just some crickets as an addition to the MRP.
Best,
Justin
