heating question

hello i am keep my 2 easterns in for the winter and i am using a 30 gallon tank and i was wondering which powersun buld should i get a 100watt or the 160watt to get proper temps.i feel that a 100 watt isnt going to be enough while 160 might be too much??? hope someone can help me

I would go with a 50. 100 seems to be a lot for a 30 gallon.

You can always place a too warm fixture higher to achieve a lower temp, but it's hard to put a weak light closer. I would go with the higher wattage one. Tess
