Might be easier if you let us know what you've tried so far....
well, i first started him on leaf lettuce which was bad for him so i went to musterd greens. he eats some but i want him to eat more then some, i also fed him cand and dry box turtle food but he never ate it. so now you know what ive tried what do you think.thanks PS he loves earthworms , mealworms and waxworms but i dont think their that good for him..
I dont know what your calling leaf lettuce, leaf lettuce to me is boston lettuce(red leaf, green leaf) and both are fine(Iceburg lettuce is bad), romaine is fine, mustard greens are fine, you need to get some fruit in there aswell, tomatoes are a fav. strawberries, bananas(not to often), mangos, apples ect.
earth worms are fine, I know almost everyone on this forum feeds wax worms and meal worms, crickets and grasshoppers are goodtoo
the link below is to a post on this forum with all kinda of food you could try

He loves earthworms, mealworms and waxworms because it is that sort or thing that he eats in the wild, and those sort of things along with some vitamin supplementation, fruits and veggies are alot better for him than commercial box turtle food. I mean, if a turtle happens to eat the commercial stuff, thats fine as part of a larger diet, but I wouldn't base his diet on that stuff.
As far as the three insects you mentioned, earthworms and mealworms are better that waxworms but waxworms are fine as long as that isn't the primary insect source, they're kind of fattening, but ok as part of a larger diet. I would also try superworms (large mealworms) and crickets. I usually dust the mealworms, superworms and crickets with repcal and herptivite calcium and vitamin supplements. I also feed the mealworms and superworms romaine lettuce to "gutload" them. I also give crickets romaine lettuce and feed them goldfish flakes and commercial cricket foods.
Regarding greens for your turtle, stay away from iceberg lettuce, that is junk, romaine lettuce is good, and mustard greens are great if he'll eat them (mine won't). I also offer tomatoes, which most of mine will eat at least some of the time and tomatoes are a good source of vitamin A. Most of mine also love blackberries, and those also are a good source of vitamin A. Most turtles also love corn on the cob.
I'm going to post a link to a very good website on box turtles and the link will take you to the page that deals with diet and nutrition. Let us know how things go!
