breeding ball pythons

russellb Oct 24, 2008 03:47 PM

My kids and I want to keep and breed snakes. Am i correct in thinking ball pythons would be a good start for us. Ive owned pythons and boas before, but never bred them. Thanks!

If they are a snake that attracts your interests, then for sure, they are a good starter snake. Only buy captive bred animals from a reputable source for the best start. See the ball python forum for specifics to that species.

Have fun!
