Stan Ruppel originated the line.
It has always been a rare type of pastel. Not many work with them. I think Camlon and Jarod Horenstein have them.
They are rarely available though even though they are sharp looking. Try contacting Stan. He usually has ads up on KS.

I`m pretty sure Stan was working with the Graziani line. But his male started throwing out some cool little blushed out pastels. He named them Ruppel stonewash pastels. Not all Ruppel pastels are stonewash pastels. I`ve been breeding them for a few years and i haven`t hit a stonewash yet, but i did produce 2 super stonewash females back in 05.

A photographer, I am not.
I just took this photo inside with a flash. I would say this snake's coloration is somewhere between this photo and the previous one.
I have no any idea what I'm going to breed her to this coming year.

She may not win any beauty pageants but she has a nice personality.

Stan Ruppel is a SUPER nice guy to work with. Call/E-mail him and I'm sure he'd probably have no problem seeing what he has for sale for you/explain their genetics/explain their look/even send pictures. Good luck!!

The Ruppel pastel was proven by Stan Ruppel. I aquired my Ruppel pastel male from Jared Hornstein in 2006. It was one of the hatchlings from Stan's original clutch of Ruppel Pastels. The Ruppel line isn't seen very often, and I have yet to see a female Rupple for sale on Kingsnake. There is still alot that can be done with the Ruppel line. These may have already been done, but I haven't seen the Ruppel Pewter, Ruppel Bee, Ruppel Blast etc... If they have, someone please post pics!!! I am not a photographer but pics of my male can be seen on my website under the Collection page.
