I'm definately not a cinny/black pastel expert by any means but I'd say the top pic is the black and the bottom is the cinny.

def not normals! If u saw the side belly circles u would see

Emberball Oct 25, 2008 01:45 PM

I really do not think they look like either. Did you buy them as one or the other, are the CH holdbacks? I like the look, do not think they look like "normals," but don't think they look like Cinns either. Here is my Cinn, for comparison.

Both Ciinny and Blacks are variable by clutch and by LINE. There is a reason why some lines have "street cred" over others -- they consistently look better. My 2 cents are that the 2 animals in question are what they are labeled by the poster. I can't guess what line they are -- but I am certain which they are NOT!!!

cinnamon

jhamblin83 Oct 25, 2008 08:19 PM

s...... dont have dark lines over there alien eyes, so i would say black pastel

BuzzardBall Oct 25, 2008 02:03 PM

Alright Grown, here's the deal! The bottom pic is definately a "Cinny"! Now, the top one really doesn't look like either, but, it's only one pic! It could be a "black pastel", but can't really tell by THAT pic!

kissofdeath Oct 25, 2008 02:38 PM

yeah I think you just have them labeled backwards. they arent normals!

toshamc Oct 25, 2008 03:15 PM

They both seem to lack the flames and blushing you'd normally find on a cinny and blk pastel -- but there is variation and it could just be bad pictures -- if I were to guess I'd say the top one looks like a normal and the bottom one -- I dont know -- I'm leaning more towards blk pastel but the head says maybe cinny.

I would agree with your labeling.
Top is Cinny.
Bottom is Black Pastel.

Wouldn't say either are normal.

Good point and question, we often get that question since we work with both morphs, we work with the Grazziani line of Cinnies and a WC line of black Pastel. Although they can both influance similar results in cross morph mixes, these reuslts still have variable visual differences. ie Silver bullet vs Silver streak simular but different. The main differance that we've noticed is that Black Pastls seem to have more etching arround the alien patterns, this is also apparent on the crosses as well although the intesity may vary. They also have more of a satiny black apperance with coppery orange markings. The impotant thing to know as well is that there are alot of cinni/black pastel crosses out there, offspring produced from both Cinnies and Black Pastels which will show varied amounts of both traits, and are usually why people ask is this a Cinni or Black Pastel. Ultimately they both produce some increadible mutations and are great to work with. We've included a picture of both a Cinni and Black Pastel from clutches that hatched out at the same time for comparison.

i guess i wont know for sure until i breed them out. they arent normals, just bad pics i guess. the person we got them from is a friend of ours. i dont think hes trying to mess with us. he told me what they were when picked them up but i couldnt remember for sure and my boyfriend had a different opinion than i did. they were his breeder males. he replaced them with double morph animals. im starting to agree with the people that say i mixed them up but who knows for sure.

They are not Normals,Noway.!!! They look Black Pastel, and maybe a cross of the two,Blk/Cinns with the top one looking more Blk Pst... Thats my 3 cents.. Maybe those would make a wicked Super?
