One topic I have yet to find any info on is, at what age do beardies pretty much stop growing? Someone has a 17 3/4" female beardie that's 8 1/2 months old and I am just wondering if it has potential to grow much more. Thanks in advance. -Scott

Most dragons have finished their growth by 2 years of age...or at least growth rates have greatly reduced by that time but they may grow a tiny bit each year but not really enough to be noticeable.
Dragons will still shed a couple times a year as their skin does wear out...if they get obese, they will shed more to accommodate the larger size, so after two years and your dragon sheds more than twice a year, could be a good indication they are getting too fat...regular weighing with a good digital scale is more accurate way to notice weight loss and gain.

Beardies are usually done growing by approx 2years....the first year they grow rapidly in length...by the end of their first year they are usally done growing lengthwise...or almost done. The second year they pack on the girth

It depends on husbandry and genetics. Mine grow and inch a week as babies and juveniles. When they slow down they grow about another 2" in the next 18 months or so. So your friends 17 3/4" dragon could grow to be 19 3/4" assuming she has ended her juvenile rapid growth. Then like others have said they gain weight and fill out.
www.daichu.com has a chart where they kept data on males and females size and weight from hatching on.
I saw that site. They only charted them through the first six months, though.
