What is the difference between the California Kingsnake and Common Kingsnake?
I have a friend that say my kings one the my California Kingsnake is a Common Kingsnake. Here is a pic of them.

What is the difference between the California Kingsnake and Common Kingsnake?

common king is a generic term that usually means all Lampropeltis getulus sp. This includes everything from floridana to californiae.
Common king is also sometimes used to describe the eastern or chain king(Lampropeltis g.getulus), which yours looks similar to. Your snake is a California king(Lampropeltis g. californiae), though. It is the banded race or varient. Hope this helped.
